Comprehensive Services
Danville Services of Arizona provides a comprehensive continuum of supports for people with disabilities. We offer Residential and Individualized Living Arrangements, Individualized Support Planning, Medical/Health Management, Medication Administration, and Transportation Services.
Residential Services
Danville Services of Arizona provides a variety of residential services, all tailored to support the needs of people with disabilities. Our Group Homes are staffed on a 1:3 ratio, one staff for every three residents. This ratio can change depending on the needs of the individuals living in the home. Traditional supported living, community integration, in home training, transportation to and from day programs and community activities, and assistance in purchasing items for the home including grocery shopping are just some of the services Danville provides.
Danville Services of Arizona also has Medical Group Homes. These homes are staffed by one nurse and one direct support person 24 hours per day, seven days a week. Typically anywhere from 4 to 6 residents live in the home. The residents are considered medically fragile and the activities provided in these homes keeps the residents happy and entertained. The Danville HAN DTA program comes into their home where activities are offered and participation is individualized according to their ability and health limitations. Since this program began, the number of health issues and hospitalizations had decreased tremendously and the enthusiasm of the residents has increased. The residents also enjoy community outings such as movies, zoos, lunch away from home, or a nice nature walk.
Medical Support/Care
The health and well being of our residents is the number one priority for Danville. The Medical Management System used by Danville ensures that each and every Danville resident receives the best in well coordinated medical care and support. All Danville employee’s are trained in medical management procedures, including documentation, medication administration, and extensive record keeping. Medical management training is on going at Danville Services of Arizona.
Day Support Services
Danville Services of Arizona has a Day Program where individuals are provided with opportunities to engage in a variety of activities such as:
- Social Skills
- Health and Hygiene
- Recreation and Leisure
- Safety classed
- Educational curriculum/classes
- Arts and Crafts
- Cultural classes
- Exercise and computer programs
- Individualized skills programs
- Community integration
The people that attend the Danville Services of Arizona DTA are Danville residents as well as residents from other Providers and is separate from the HAN DTA.
