Amber Triplett, Proud Bridesmaid
One of the great things about working at Danville is the ability for staff to connect with fellow colleagues, but also with clients.
While trained to remain professional at all times, Danville staff care about the people they’re working with and for, and friendships naturally result. For instance, Danville group home resident, Amber Triplett, is personal friends with two Danville caretakers, Annie and Bryce Park.
Annie previously worked for another care provider in the area, where she met Amber. When Annie accepted a job with Danville, she encouraged Amber’s mom to move to Amber Danville, as well.
Amber was recently a bridesmaid in Annie and Bryce’s wedding. Annie says, “We really wanted Amber to be involved in our wedding and I decided to make her one of my bridesmaids. She had a lot of fun being in the wedding and socializing with everyone at the reception. A lot of our clients also attended our wedding and it was great to share our day with them!”
Amber wore a black bridesmaid dress and held yellow flowers. She had her hair and makeup done by the other bridesmaids and she looked beautiful. She danced with the couple at the reception and had her photo taken with them in a special photo booth, which is now a treasured keepsake, as is the postcard the newlyweds sent her from their honeymoon in Florida.
Amber’s favorite parts of the wedding were going down the aisle, and then the big moment when Bryce and Annie kissed at the end of the ceremony. She loves to say, “Bryce, Annie kiss! Yay!” to keep the memory fresh in her mind.
