Comprehensive Services


Danville provides a comprehensive continuum of supports for people with disabilities including but not limited to; Residential and Supported Living Services, Day Services and Employment, Person Centered Support Planning, Medical/Health Management, Behavior Consultation and Support Planning, Financial and Personal Budgeting Assistance, and Transportation Services.

 

Residential Services


Danville provides a wide array of residential services, all of which are carefully tailored to meet the unique needs of each person. Residential Services range from twenty four hour supervised home environments, to Community Supported Living Arrangements with varying levels of staff assistance and supervision.

Great care is taken to determine the optimal living situation for each person.

Danville’s professional teams work closely with each person and their family members/loved ones to assess and determine the ideal/specific supports, goals and supervision necessary to help each person achieve optimal quality of life, independence and satisfaction. An individualized Person Centered Support Plan is developed for each person.

 

Day Support Services


Danville has an outstanding reputation for providing life enhancing, fun, safe and meaningful Day Support Services. Danville clients are provided with opportunities to engage in a vast menu of activities such as;

• Social and Domestic skills training
• Health, Hygiene and grooming classes
• Employment training
• Recreation and leisure
• Safety classes
• Educational/topical curriculum/classes
• Arts and Crafts
• Exercise
• Computer Stations
• Writing/ News and newsletter groups


Employment Services


Danville Employment Services provides the support, training and assistance necessary for people with disabilities to work, earn money and maintain productive, enjoyable and meaningful careers. Employment services range from independent community job placements to fully supervised and supported employment. Emphasis is placed on supporting teaching and developing the skills necessary to reap the benefits and rewards that can come from meaningful employment. Increased confidence, self esteem and the satisfaction and sense of purpose that comes from being a valued employee is a common experience among DES employees.


Medical Support/Care


The health and well being of our clients is our number one priority!
Danville Services has long been recognized as the gold standard/premier provider of comprehensive medical services and supports for people with disabilities in Utah.

Danville’s proprietary Medical Management System ensures that each and every client receives the very best in well coordinated medical care and support. This unique and unparalleled system is the result of nearly three decades of experience serving and meeting the needs of some of the most medically fragile people in Utah/services. Even the healthiest of Danville clients reap the myriad benefits of our vast experience in this realm.

Danville employs and contracts with licensed medical professionals including, Doctors and Family Nurse Practitioners.

Danville employs a staff of competent and caring Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses who are considered to be among the best in the field.

Danville’s Professional Staff assist clients to attend and participate in all needed medical appointments. We provide transportation to and from appointments as needed.

“In House” medical and psychiatric clinics are held at least monthly in many Danville locations where Danville Support teams work closely with Medical Providers to ensure efficacy and the highest quality of care possible.

A multi disciplinary approach is taken to ensure that all areas of need are addressed.
Danville Administrators, Managers, Professional Nursing Staff, Behavior Specialists and Direct Support Professionals participate in the Medical Management Process.

 

Positive Behavior Support


Danville provides experienced, caring and compassionate behavior support services in order to help each person overcome personal behavioral challenges.

Our team of Certified Professional Behavior Analysts and Specialists work directly with each and every client and their respective support teams in order to develop a personalized/individualized Positive Behavior Support Plan.

Positive Behavior Support Plans consider all areas of life with the goal of increasing pro-social – positive behavior, while reducing and/or eliminating behavior that is challenging and/or may be harmful to the person or others.

Our Behavior Analysts help to identify primary challenging behaviors and then determine the reason(s) why the person engages in the behavior using the scientific process of “functional Assessment”.

Positive approaches and interventions are implemented which lead to the development and enhancement of pro-social, positive behaviors and the acquisition of skills that lead to improvements in the quality of one’s life.

Danville’s philosophy adheres to the principles of “Positive Behavior Support” Our team of Behavior Analysts and specialists work closely with each client and their respective support teams to develop creative plans that help people achieve real world results which often lead to increased social and employment opportunities and also increase a persons ability to participate within the community.


Financial/ Rep. Payee /Personal Budgeting Assistance


Danville Services has an experienced accounting team dedicated to obtaining, managing and maintaining eligibility for necessary programs such as;

• Medicaid
• Medicare
• Social Security
• Housing Assistance Programs

Our experienced teams handle all of the accounting and documentation required for Soc Sec/Medicaid reviews, audits and compliance requirements in order to maintain eligibility for services. Family members and guardians appreciate the peace of mind these included services bring as they are finally relived of these often complex and time consuming duties.

 
Resident Finances


Danville is committed to making sure that personal finances are safely and securely managed. Danville’s management and accounting teams work together very closely to ensure that all financial transactions are efficiently and carefully tracked and documented.

Danville clients receiving Residential Services/ Representative Payee Services, have secure checking accounts. Social Security benefits are deposited along with wages and/or any other income into the client’s checking account. Income and expenses are carefully and closely monitored and tracked using computerized software. Monthly checking and cash Transaction Summaries are then produced, providing an itemized, categorized report detailing all transactions. The reports are then carefully reviewed by the client, Danville program administration, accounting staff, the support coordinator and legal guardian(s).

Additionally, Danville’s accounting representative in charge of Resident Finances, conducts a monthly on site reconciliation and audit of all transactions utilizing bank statements for comparison. Each quarter, Resident Finance personnel from various regions audit/review each others’ work to ensure accuracy and fidelity.

We encourage and support clients to be engaged in managing their financial lives to the greatest extent possible. Many clients benefit from support strategies designed to teach and increase understanding and participation in the processes of budgeting and financial skills.

Transportation


Danville provides safe and reliable transportation to and from work, school and day services. All drivers are classroom and road tested and must pass a defensive driving course in order to be eligible to drive Danville clients. All drivers must have a good driving record and must pass a yearly DMV review.

Danville vehicles are well maintained, mechanically sound and must adhere to our strict standards for performance and reliability. Danville provides our clients with the safest and most comfortable vehicles possible. Our vehicles also employ state of the art technology for wheel chair lifting mechanisms.
